We are supporting ASICS Global IT since 2020 with their IT sourcing strategy and sourcing selection processes. A few examples of the work done in the past years are described below.

Hunkemöller – Selection SAP Cloud transition
Hunkemöller is successfully using SAP Retail since 2008. With the growth of their business globally and in different sales channels, Hunkemöller needed to upgrade from their current set up (SAP Retail) to SAP S/4 Fashion.

SSC-ONS
ONS is a Shared Service Centre for multiple local and regional government organisations. As a shared service centre, ONS must deliver IT services that meet the requirements of all the organisations involved.

Feenstra – Recontracting Infrastructure MSP
Feenstra and its Managed Service Provider (MSP) have had an agreement for the provision of IT services for quite some time. This agreement needs to be renewed. It is crucial for Feenstra that this new agreement includes IT services that continuously support Feenstra’s business.

Hunkemöller – Selection SAP S/4 Fashion Transformation
After transitioning the SAP environment to a Cloud environment, Hunkemöller was ready for the next phase: transformation from ECC Retail to S/4 Fashion.

ASICS – ITSM improvement
ASICS’s vision is to become a digital driven company, supporting innovation, product development, manufacturing and facilities & (user) communities. Do achieve these goals, a robust and secure IT infrastructure and enterprise application solution is provided to the ASICS global organization and regions. The IT Service Management processes are crucial to support and ensure these goals. ASICS has asked van Dorp Management Consultancy, to have insights of the current ITSM process maturity and be advised on improvements to match their future goals.

ASICS – SASE ZTNA (SASE and IAM) selection process
ASICS’ needed to implement a secure, performant, cost- effective and stable Identity Access and Governance Management (IAM) and secure network management solution (SASE, zero trust and cloud based) that assures connectivity to all mission critical application systems of ASICS.

ASICS – Selecting Enterprise Architecture tooling
ASICS needed a user friendly and cost-effective (Enterprise) Architecture Design Repository tool, to empower the organisation to model, analyse, present, publish and integrate their business strategy, objectives, capabilities, processes and application landscape.

ASICS – Recontracting of ServiceNow and service provider
For the past years ASICS is using ServiceNow as their ITSM tooling. To ensure this cooperation will last for next years, we renewed and adjusted the contract, including newly requirements and service reporting.

ASICS – Selection Managed Service Provider for cloud capacity
ASICS is using AWS for their global business workloads in all regions. Although most of the usage is contracted under a single ‘Private Pricing Addendum’, there are still some regions with their own AWS contract. All regions are managing their own environment (internally or outsourced) for continuity, security and capacity usage. We are therefore entered a selection process for a managed service Supplier that will helps ASICS to deliver a sustainable AWS environment that supports future initiatives.

ASICS – Selection of managed service provider for Microsoft365 environment
ASICS recently switched from Google-suite to Microsoft365. This switch has created a great need for Microsoft365 knowledge in the regions, to support their users. This mainly concerns 2nd and 3rd line support due to changing to the applications of Microsoft365 like SharePoint, OneDrive and Exchange online.

Having a secure and stable cloud infrastructure for their primary business application SAP is key for the business of ASICS. We have surveyed the market for this and conducted a selection process with suitable parties and successfully selected and contracted a MSP
