ASICS – Selection Service Provider for S/4 Migration and SAP RISE
We are supporting ASICS Global IT since 2020 with their IT sourcing strategy, sourcing selection processes and ITSM process improvements. In our approach we include the people of ASICS’ into our project teams to share knowledge and ensure continuity for the future. Next to the specific sourcing projects, we are helping ASICS’ as trusted advisor on all their IT sourcing challenges, market & technology insights and developments, and service improvements.

The new SAP S/4 functionality and the enhanced AI capabilities within the RISE platform enable XYZ to continuously innovate for its customers and enhance the service experience. After the migration, XYZ is ready to embed this continuous improvement process into its services.
We managed the process of selecting a Service Provider for migration of current SAP ECC towards SAP S/4 on a RISE environment, and SAP RISE contract negotiations for the global SAP environment of ASICS for their primary business processes. Provided substantive input to the dialogue sessions and RFP and contracting documents.
The activities consist of 5 phases:
- Managing the process to define the exact scope, service requirements, service levels and migration approach. (the migration approach included the use of SmartShift)
- Managing dialogue sessions (RFD) to validate and adjust the Request for Proposal (RFP) and creating a shortlist based on the dialogue session to send out the RFP.
- Supervising the selection process and making an objective comparison of both quality and financial comparison.
- Supporting contract negotiations, challenging BOM’s (supported by partners), renegotiation of public cloud consumption spend.
- Managing and validating contracting of services (MSA, DPA, GDPR, SOW documents)
These phases have been completed for both the migration partner and SAP RISE on AWS.
